Vampire Princess Miyu - The Last Shinma (TV Vol. 6) Reviews
A let down finale to a great series.
Even though I enjoyed the final episodes of Vampire Princess Miyu I still sadly felt letdown in the end, the big twist in who the strongest Shinma is didn't really go down well with Me nor did the explenation on how it all came to be and I was left wanting more which is annoying since to My knowladge there isn't any more or as far as I know there is never gonna be another series, in the end it all felt rushed to Me.
Worth it to complete Your collection and watching once or twice.
Surprise! Sad ending....
Whole stories were planned ahead. Miyu was finally betrayed by Chisato and she was the final Sninma which the clan of bird raised. Miyu and Chisato get a key-holders as a memory of their friendship in the episode 2. But it was a key item to shield Chisato's devilship (nature of shinma). Two other Miyu's friends (Yukari and Hisae) are simply killed by Chisato for a lesson to kill Miyu. I guess the theme of this story is this point. How lightly treated the lives of humanbeing are! It can be seen the united states too.
Anyway, it comes to the bloody end. Lava (?) cut off Chisato's head and their clock stopps at this point. Chisato sleeps endlessly in Miyu's world. On the other hand Miyu is left alone with only her Lava and Shina and she cannot die. Related to this, Miyu's mom asks her which she wants, a red kimono or a white. What a literatural question. A red kimono means a uniform of prisoners and a white one is for the dead. In this story, a red means a prisoner of destiny and a white one is exactly death. Looks like Miyu chose a red one. But as Lava says at last, he has craws to cut destiny. He also says he can cut Miyu's destiny when she wants to get away from her destiny. He meant he would be with her to the end, I guess.
The ending song which the voice of Miyu sang also matched the theme of this story. If some other professional singer sing this in commercial manner, it would ruin the whole story.
Everybody that watches this DVD will feel saaaaaaad. But they will watch this story again because of an outstanding quality.
