Twelve O'Clock High Reviews

Great film about the fightin' 8th air force FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
All star cast. Great flying by stunt pilot paul mantz! Watch him crash land a B-17 in the first scene. He landed it a few feet from where the director wanted it. Gegory Peck is a tough act to follow but, Hugh Marlowe Gary Merrill and Dean Jagger do well in this accurate portrayal of pilots in the 8th air force during WWII.

An admirable film about leadership! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
Tense story, placed in England during WW2, around a group USA fliers. They refuse to obey a Jurassic leader, excessively authoritarian. He will be substituted for another one who has a similar approach.

Far beyond of its intrinsic virtues, (towering performance of Gregory Peck) , the picture is still considered an authentic icon in what concerns to leadership and Management. How to get an absolute support of your group of soldiers, even in the worst conditions.

Size by size a potent and majuscule film. This is my favorite film of Henry King.
