Tour of Duty on DVD
I used to watch the series when I was 16 years old, it was great and I'm a big fan of Tour of Duty. I can still remember notable characters like Sgt. Anderson and Lt. Goldman. Some big name stars were also guesting in the series, as I remember, Carl Whethers of the Rocky fame guested as a Special Forces colonel and commander of a Special Operations Unit where Anderson and Goldman were attached. Lt. Goldman's father is a major general but appeared only once in the series i think.
I miss this series as it has been 15 years since I last watched an episode. Great to hear that it's finally on DVD and would definitely get it.
Most Amazing series ever
This is the one series that I have always wanted on DVD,the story lines and acting ability of those involved is fantastic. It's the one series in your life that you should see. I watched it when it was first shown in the UK at 11.30pm on a Friday night and I would get tingles up my spine as Paint it Black would float out of the speakers. I have the ones that were released on vhs,recorded the rest but it's not enough.This must be released on DVD, it is the best series ever made and if it's half as popular in the states as it is here then the DVD companies are losing out on alot of money by not releasing it. PLEASE release it, Pretty please, Cherries on top?
