Threesome Reviews

Threesome is wicked cool FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! empty skull, sniff. empty skull, sniff.
This is a story of three college friends. At first a mix up with the first name of a female student lands her in a male dorm. They try to tolerate each other (well she trys to tolerate her male room mates) but they eventually become the best of friends and then something more flares up between them. I liked it because it broke the rules of friendship and even though it was a bittersweet ending you could tell that they were glad to have known each other.

Good movie, but was pretty sexually graphic FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! empty skull, sniff.
Threesome is a good movie about three friends or (roommates for that matter) where two of them are guys and one of them is a girl. Stuart is played by Stephen Baldwin, Eddie is played by Josh Charles, and Alex (interesting name for a girl) is played by Lara Flynn Boyle.

The movie begins with Eddie moving into a dorm room with Stuart and the two of them become pretty acquainted by some pretty hilarious but sick sexual humor. After checking into the registrars office for a dorm room, Alex discovers that there has been a computer glitch and according to the colleges files she is actually a male. She gets put into the same dorm room as Stuart and Eddy and a lot of sexual eramifications take place. Alex has the hots for Eddie, Eddie is sexually ambivalent which means he is either afraid of sex or doesn't know whether he is sexually attracted to Alex or Stuart.

Then Stuart has the hots for Alex. Basically a confusing and complicated love triangle is the plot of the story as the three young adults discover who they are and who they will become down the road. Stuart is a horn dog and says and does some things that made me sick back in 1994 when this movie first came out, but now it is actually pretty funny.

Stuart thinks that Eddie is looking at his butt and says, "were you just looking at my butt?" Eddie says no, and then Stuart says, "Are you a homo? Its okay if you are. It doesn't bother me. I'm secure enough in my own sexuality to not feel threatened by it. My mom had a lot of gay friends." Eddie Says, "Please stuart shut up, I can't finish writing my paper unless you shut up." Stuart then says, "I don't have anything against homos. I mean you are what you are right? And its okay if you look at my butt. Its a nice butt... I know that."

Things turn for the worse when Stuart and Alex start having sex while Eddie is at class, and Eddie begins getting feelings for Alex which leads to a very interesting ending. All three of them have sex at the same time and alex is afraid that she might be pregnant. Thankfully she discovers that she is not, and all three of them graduate and lead successful lives. This movie is not for kids...

Do not let anyone under the age of 18 see it until you feel they can maturely handle it. At the time I saw it, I was 16 and I thought I could handle it. I was wrong... I don't think I should have seen it when I did. The only reason I learned to see the sexual message and humor in this movie is because I have a friend who is exactly like Stuart in the film. He said and did the same kinds of things, so over time it got to be funny to me...

There is an awful lot of graphic sexual dialogue and language, nudity, and a few sex scenes. This is definetely not an appropriate film for children to see, but I enjoy it now. A few parts of it I still don't like, but I have learned to accept it. If you can appreciate and understand the differences and sexual humor about the differences between gays and straights, then this is the film for you if you like comedy.

I basically feel the same way stuart does when it comes to gay sexual issues. Like he says, "I'm secure in enough in my own sexuality to not feel threatened by it." That line fits me well. I don't approve of gay sex and have been hit on by a few gay people which is disgusting. I told them I appreciated their honesty but that I am 100 percent straight and that their will be no intimacy whatsoever. They understood. I don't approve of gay sexuality at all, but as long as I don't hear about what goes on behind closed doors, I am fine.
