all time movies for telling the truth, except the end

When he meets an admiring young waitress (delightfully played by Drew Barrymore),

it's love at first sight,

complicated by their pending marriages to much less appealing fiancés. ( No mean FINANCES )

oh yea, ladies are not supposed to mention that, but it IS mentioned in this movie from the women stars, yet not in the review haha

The plot then contorts itself to accommodate this contrived will-they-or-won't-they? scenario, so you're better off ignoring the love story and focusing on the comedy,

( because of the finance issue) !

This is one of my all time fav movies, for it tells it like its, all but the end of the movie, which would never happen, getting married, but hey they had to make a movie. Whats reality is when the scene of the movie goes, Adam, she wont marry me, I cant give her the house and white picket fence and all that important stuff to her, and then his costar says, no Adam, that's not important to some people, its important to ALL people! BOLD! And only in a movie haha


Captures the 80's perfect........................
Billy Idol looks like death and Alexis Arquette, (the shemale) is in this. What a fruitcake. Drew Barrymore is pregnant with E.T.'s kid.

Why do I need another copy of this?

Worth the extra $13 - I think not

I suppose if you are one of the four people on the planet that doesn't own this classic there is a option of which edition to purchase, for the rest of us, it's just not worth it.
