Yar, you be here: The Simpsons - Treehouse of Horror > Customer Reviews The Simpsons - Treehouse of Horror Customer Reviews (7 - 9 of 21 Reviews)-
I had fun watching these episodes. All 4 of them were very good, but why were there only 4 instead of all of them? They chose the best episodes for the DVD, so it was still good. The menu was slow, but the picture and sound was great. There was some blurring when Homer ran to the TV in "Citizen Kang". The first episode on the DVD(treehouse of horror V) was the best one, I liked how groundskeeper Willie got an axe in his back on all 3 parts. Possibly the best 15.00 I ever spent. Simpsons All The Way!
First off... I've been a Simpsons fan since I seen the first episode in 1989. I was born in 83 so growing up as a kid, the Simpsons have always been around. It's only now that I'm starting to look back at the Simpsons, seeing how funny they actually realy are. Without a doubt, the Treehouse of Horrors episodes were the ones we waited for all year long. I do think it was smart putting this DVD out for Simpson fans... and I only hope Fox can be smarter, and put out a Treehouse of Horrors volume 2 out. I seriously wouldn't care what episodes they would be. I'd like to see the Treehouse of Horrors III with the zombies... or even Treehouse IV with Montgomery Burns as the blood thirsty vampire. This DVD by far isn't complete... but what it does try to offer, succeeds in my book. I really hate having to open a four disc box set to watch one episode... especially if it's a Treehouse of Horrors episode. This DVD is the best thing to buy and for Fox to keep making... for all of us die hard Simpson fans out there. Only buy this if you're a real Simpsons fan, even if it's $10. The 12 episodes are fantastic to watch, my favorite being "The Thing and I". Great DVD
If you are a true simpsons fan you should uy this DVD. It is hilarious, especially at the end of Homer3 when he comes to our world, crawls out of a dumpster, and says, "Oh, this is the worst one yet" I won't tell you how he got there because that would give the plot away. Anyway, you should definintley buy this DVD, especially since it has episodes that come from seasons that aren't out yet, unlike "Christmas with the Simpsons".
