Clearer storyline than "The Constant Gardener"
Before I viewed "The Quiet American" I watched "The Constant Gardener," both great stories. But this movie was presented in a much clearer way for the viewer. I do not enjoy movies that you have to fight to understand it at times. I want to be entertained not frustrated. Let the viewer first understand the message and then have the appropriate feelings and thoughts. Thank you for the presentation of "The Quiet American" in that it allows that.
Quiet, But amazing
I must share with you that I was so moved by the Beauty of this film and love story. I bought the movie and and share with friends. I loved the scenery of Vietnam. I had to go and visit after seeing this film. I stayed at the same hotel where the bombing scene was shot. I have never been to this country before, and can't seem to get my adventure out of my head.
