Terrible
I picked up this movie with the hope of seeing some action and suspense, but was instead subjected to a dark, murky movie with Demi Moore screaming at her kid, and the dark, lifeless face of Mr. Baldwin's character. Don't get me wrong. I respect and admire both Demi and Mr. Baldwin for their roles in other films, but this was not a good move on their part. I cleaned out some junk last weekend, and this movie went with it..Now I'm thinking I should have thrown it out, as I would not want to subject anyone else to this..
Who Will Protect You?
'The Juror' is a very eerie thriller that makes you think twice about how safe being in a courtroom actually is. What makes this movie are the performances of Demi Moore, and especially Alec Baldwin as her stalker.
Demi plays Annie, who is on a jury of a high-profile mafia case that she herself chose to be on. Baldwin comes suddenly into her life and almost immediately threatens her and her child if she doesn't convince the rest of the jury to declare the mafia client not guilty. But did the client actually commit the murder? Meanwhile, Baldwin becomes increasingly and sickeningly infatuated with Annie and gets a tad out of control as things start to go wrong.
Highly recommended for fans of courtroom dramas and thrillers. Balwin's creepy performance makes the movie all the more unnerving, and Moore's equally good as his obsession.
