The Greatest Film Ever Made
This movie was the bomb. Vin Deisel should have gotten the Oscar that year. The youth of today live in an inspired age. I was inspired to modify my Honda Civic. I bolted an ironing board to the back (for better rear traction with my front wheel drive four banger), added twenty decals (10hp gain each), then got dual exhausts with coffee can tips (another 40hp gain), lowered it two inches, and added $2,000 worth of fiberglass body kit (This extra weight and wind resistance gave me yet another 40hp gain). To top off my phat mods I ditched those weak easy-to-see brake lights and got the dope silver framed harder-to-see ones (add 12hp). Now all the Corvettes, Mustangs and Ferraris fear me. I'm pretty sure they do, but my $3,000 boomin' 1,000 watt woofers and moose fart muffler are too loud for me to hear what they're saying. Yeah, they're laughing, but it's cuz dey insecure cuz I gotz da pimpt ride yo. Don't be hatin.

In 20 years this film's subtle nuance and profound social commentary will be truly appreciated. Cinematic genius through and through. The Fast and the Furious gives me hope that the youth of today will bring a brighter tomorrow...or a phatter tomorrow....or sumpin like dat.

Style Over Substance
You know something I notice with movies directed by Rob Cohen that have Vin Diesel in them? NONE of them have real plots in them; they are all more of crowd pleasers. This is no exception. If you like visuals, you will love this movie. But if you are looking for some actual good action movies, I suggest you look elsewhere (lots of recommended titles that I'd rather not list). Really, I found it hard to just keep on watching this because there's nothing that made me think "Wow!" when I was amazed, except that so many people actually wanted to see this. Although I don't necessarily recommend it either, XXX also is quite lame and is more about seeing the explosion than an actual coherent story. I don't think I'd want to shell out money for this.

On the good side, "Sin City" just came out a couple days ago.

A solid 8 out of 10!
This is one of the best movies I've ever seen! There's lots of fighting and car racing, many scenes of suspenseful music, some funny parts, and this is one of the few PG-13s with the "F bomb" in it. Also, there is a ton of good acting and there are many scenes that teenagers and adults would get a kick out of, as well. Vin Diesel, who is one of my favorite actors of all time, does very well here and is cool as always. This movie is great, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
