The Dukes of Hazzard Reviews

About Dukes of Hazzard on DVD FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
I would really enjoy have the Dukes of Hazzard on a DVD collection. I grew up watching them on tv. Some idiot executive took them off the air. If they don't put it back on tv, I figure that a DVD collection would be the next best thing. The car, the adventures, and their way of life are some of the features that made the series as good as what it was. I ask as nicely and demanding as I can, please start a DVD collection for all of us, good ol' folks.

I have recently purchased from Amazon.co.uk two DVDs-region2 (for UK, Europe, Middle East & Japan only) with 6 episodes of my all-time favorite "The Dukes Of Hazzard" and I have been wondering why such a classic, top-rated TV show is mistreated and underminded by TV executives. "The Dukes Of Hazzard" run from Jan.26, 1979 through Feb.8, 1985, with a 6 years span and after 147 episodes aired! There were also two tv-movies titled "The Reunion" and "Hazzard in Hollywood" and broadcasted on Apr.25, 1997 and May19, 2000 respectively! By the time those lines are written there are strong indications of a U.S. release (region 1) of the intire catalogue on DVD(s), however, Warner Bros has not officially put a comment on that yet. I am one of those guys who expect the release of "Dukes of Hazzard" on DVD with great anticipation: They seem that despite the lack of hype -they never intended for!- and the minimal reference to what we consider as "successful living" they developed a mutual chemistry with the audiences worldwide. Today, money means everything to most, but not for Bo, Luke and Uncle Jessie who put traditional values - God, Family, Friendship & Love - on top! Even the "bad-guys" of the series like Roscoe and Boss, they neither used indecent language nor practiced any physical harm in the way modern television provides daily. I wish I could see them roll once again for the joy, smile and hapinness that will bring to all of us Bo & Luke Duke, Daisy, Uncle Jessie, "General Lee" and the best "Bad-Guys" comedian duo in the history of television, Boss Hogg and Sheriff Roscoe! Yes, That's What I Call Entertainment and I'm looking forward to!

FAQs: Bo Duke (John Schneider), Luke Duke (Tom Wopat), Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach), Uncle Jessie Duke (Denver Pyle, 1920-1997 of lung cancer), Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane (James Best), Deputy Enos Strate (Sonny Shroyer), Boss Jeferson Davis "JD" Hogg (Sorrell Booke, 1930-1994 of colorectal cancer), Cooter Davenport (Ben Jones), Deputy Cletus Hogg (Rick Hurst), Waylon Jennings as The Balladeer (1937 - 2002 of diabetes related illness, inducted into The Country Music Hall Of Fame on October 2001 after nearly 60 albums and 16 Country No1s!), "General Lee" (an orange model 1969 Dodge Charger)
