Greatest Pool movie of all time!
Paul Newman revisits one of his most classic characters(from "The Hustler") as "Fast Eddie" Feldman, a pool hustler by trade. The hustler takes place about 40 or so years before this, and has a lot of the same tones as this movie. It is a pool movie at heart and any fan of shooting racks will enjoy this to the fullest. It follows Fast Eddie late in his life after he has "retired" from playing professional pool. He meets a young upstart named Vincent(Tom Cruise) who is a pool phenom. It really is about how meeting a young player rekindles his love for the game. To really enjoy this movie you should see "The Hustler", but this movie stands alone as well. Great characters and plot, and great pool.
