Please Make Complete Season DVD Boxsets!
I was 4 years old when The Brady Bunch started on TV and I fondly remember watching some episodes when they were aired new on TV and the syndicated reruns which I grew up watching after coming home from school. I really want to see The Brady Bunch released on DVD in complete seasons and I'm surprised that it hasn't been done yet. There are other classic sitcoms that have just been released to DVD that are good shows but not aywhere near as good as The Brady Bunch and I would rather own The Brady Bunch on DVD then those sitcoms!

Comfort Television at its Finest
It's difficult to imagine that there could exist a single human being who has not seen - at least heard of - the Brady Bunch. Thanks to spin-off shows, spin-off feature films, and hours upon hours of syndicated reruns, this series has burned itself permanently into pop culture history.

So restoring this gem onto DVD makes perfect sense!

Sure, the stories were tightly-knit and cornball, but that's what makes the Bunch so darn charming! This family could have NEVER existed in real life (especially during the politically tumultuous late 60's and early 70's, when the series was produced). But real life is not always what the doctor ordered.

Sometimes we want to just melt into our couch/Lazyboy recliner/bean-bag-chair/whatever and be lulled into a happier state of mind. Sometimes we want to watch fictional, nonthreatening people in fictional, nonthreatening worlds have fictional, nonthreatening adventures (Greg's near death experience in Hawaii notwithstading), and FEEL GOOD for 24 minutes without commercials.

There was a certain amount of subtle wisdom to the lyrics of that old Brady Kids' tune... "We can make the world a whole lot brighter, we can make the load a little lighter..."
As corny as it seems on the surface, they certainly did accomplish that much.
