This movie is a clone of "Total Recall"
This is an intense action/sci-fi movie. The plot is similar to that of "Total Recall". Except that the action happens on Earth, not on Mars. And the double personalities in this film exist as physically separate persons (one of which is a clone of the other). That is the difference with "Total Recall", where Arnold is just one guy with a double personality implanted in his brain.
This is one of the few Arnold's movies where he smiles and says "thanks". Most of the time he is a ruthless macho man, but here we get a touch of politeness.
However, I remove one star from the rating, for the following reasons:
1) The action gets very intense and it is difficult to follow who gets cloned and who gets killed.
2) I detected hidden beer commercials in the movie. The question "would you like a beer?" is repeated several times. This is because one of the sponsors is ANHEUSER-BUSCH, the company which makes the Budweiser beer.
3) The DVD which I bought was encoded with some restriction and my DVD-player refused to play it. I actually had to buy a VHS tape, in order to see the film.
Overall, I recommend the movie. It will not disappoint you with action, special effects and plot twists.
Arnold far too old...
... to do this kind of stuff anymore. The story was intriguing, but no amount of panstick could hide the fact that the steroids had finally run out.
It has to be said, however, that no matter how miscast Arnold was in this movie, he did a better job than his lousy efforts to be a Governor...
