People in America Canada Britain should be law abiding
Taps was explained to me as a metaphor for NATO nations trying to resist invasion from what is now the BRICS alliance. The old Commandant of Bunker Hill Military Academy passes away tragically and it is left to Major Brian Moreland and his fellow cadet officers to share the leadership responsibilities. My old American and British code name was Bryn Mahr that sounds like Brian Moreland. Britain is either passing me off as or I really am the Nephew of QE2. Let me say that thank God the American and British leadership are intact. I was at Canadian Forces Base Petawawa in the 1990s when Russian Airborne occupied the Base Commanders house. I was told to stay away from the Russians but put the Russia house under observation from a distance so I have had a nonviolent Taps like experience. Plainclothes Russian and Chinese troops are still in Canada. Theres a Chinese lady Sargeant with an arm breaking-like grip as my stepmother now.

I saw this movie about 20 times in the theater in 1981. I was obsessed! Like millions of other teenage girls, I couldn't get enough of seeing all those cute guys in their uniforms. Not to mention Tom Cruise in the shower. The story line was also a major reason teenage girls flocked to the theaters. We had all seen the movie several times and knew what was going to happen, but we still left sobbing. Timothy Hutton, Tom Cruise and Sean Penn all give excellent performances. When this movie was released, nobody had heard of Tom Cruise or Sean Penn, so it's kind of fun to see them at the beginning of their careers before fame and scientology changed them. I saw it for the first time in 10 years on cable the other night. Wow, what memories. If you haven't seen it in a while, you won't regret buying this DVD. It's just as good today as it was 25 years ago. If you haven't seen it yet, by all means buy it! You will love it.
