Loved it
Angelina is always wonderful to watch on screen. Taking Lives is nothing new but there are enough plot twists to keep the audience guessing throughout the entire movie. There's one scene at the end that made the entire theater gasp in shock when I went to see it.

It didn't take a lot, but I liked it
I'm going to be honest. This movie was not the best movie in the world and there have been thrillers that are better; like Seven. But, Seven is a movie that is hard to beat after all.

I wasn't expecting to be scared much during the movie because I am pretty hard to scare. And, honestly, I didn't jump once. But, I will say that the audience did shriek and do typical "scary movie responses." So, it did scare a bunch of people.

I liked the investigating moments and found the characters interesting. Angelina Jolie was very good and so was Ethan Hawke and Oliver Martinez. Though, I think they should've had Martinez more and Gena Rowlands more too who played the mother of the serial killer.

The ending ending will freak a crapload of people out and is very smart.

The movie was good, wasn't great, but it was good.
