Swordfish: Accepted FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
Oh yes. John Travolta sporting the "Pulp Fiction" hair and Hugh Jackman (that one guy from "X-Men") and Halle Berry all in one movie! Travolta's character is an anti-terrorist who hires a computer hacker (Jackman) to make some cheap money. $9.5 billion to be exact is to be transferred into the man's bank accounts or else. Halle Berry pulls Jackman to the operation and how can he refuse? She kicks major stern in this movie! He will do his job or people will perish and the bad guy will win. The monologue at the beginning with Travolta looking at the camera and asking his audience why didn't Al Pacino win in "Dog Day Afternoon". It's truly awesome. Plenty of 360* action and comedy for everyone to enjoy. Watch for a flying bus, yes, and people rolling down a steep hill. Although, the movie has no plot and cheap action, I'm sure any action fan will feast on it!

Nothing fishy here; just a good time! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
I saw this in the theaters and I was hooked from start to finish;it's John Travolta's soild comeback from the pits of his massive stinkbomb Battlefield Earth. Here he is the bad guy Gabriel who, with the help of his sorta-gal pal Ginger(Halle Berry),gets a burnt-out computer wiz Stanley Jobson(Hugh Jackson)to try to hack 10 million bucks from a goverment slush fund called Operation Swordfish. There alot of twists and turns in the plot to keep you guessing to the ending credits.Halle is really sexy in her role as Ginger(where's Gillagan?)and Hugh proves he's a rookie actor to be reckoned with. And action?Well, there tons of that, the standouts being the 360-pan explosion and a an airlifted transport bus flying through L.A. It's a bit far-fetched,but hey its only a movie! This film was directed by Dominic Sena, who also directed one of my favorite action flicks 2000's Gone In 60 Seconds!Swordfish makes a very satisfying addition to your DVD collection. [WARNING:There's some stuff that may be too disturbing for viewers still shakened by the 9-11 terrorist attacks, like using people as deadly bombs to demolish an a entire town.If you are,I suggest you pass this one up for awhile.]

Now this is action. FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! empty skull, sniff.
John Travolta stars as Gabriel Shear, a sinister mastermind with an elite criminal crew who are desperately trying to access information locked inside a complicated computer system that contains government secrets and if they can hack it... a $9 billion payday. That is the backbone of this hightech action film of the summer.

This movie has explosions, cool acting, and ... They paid Halle Berry a lot of money to flash her bad boys and let me say it was money well spent.

Enough with that... though, this movie has some dialoge that may get to the compter people out there. Some of you may laugh but the rest of use wouldn't know so its dismissable.

As far as acting goes, everyone is enjoyable. Jackman could be the next action star and you get a smile watching Travolta have fun as the badguy.

This moive has a cool script, cool techno music, and good directing with some killer FX (everyone must see the explosion at the start of the movie, it was one of the best FX this summer) and stunts. The story holds you with mystery and intrige and never lets go. All around good mindless fun.
