Excellent
This was a great movie for it's time. Romance but not going overly with it. The cast is remarkable. Everyone was famous or went on to later fame. James Earl Jones did a wonderful job as did Robert Shaw in one of his best works. I recommend it for anyone who wants to have fun while watching a movie. Believe me it is fun.

A DECENT MOVIE
This movie wasn't a classic but it was a fun pirate movie with some great dialouge that you could never say in a movie today. What with political correctness and all. Robert Shaw gives a fun performance in this movie and James Earl Jones, Beau Bridges, Avery Shriber, and Peter Boyle all give fine performances as well. And the beautiful sexy genevieve Bujold. Oh she's so hot in this movie. (u get 2 c her butt) :) I recommend this movie highly for this price. It's a funner adventure than most of the drivel that's coming out of hollywood lately.
