Lord Vaders trilogy is what this is because darth vader is in each 3 episodes this a great 4 disk set to watch after youve seen episode 3 Revenge Of The Sith Long Live Darth Vader

The Force Is Strong With This One...
I have been a fan of Star Wars (4-6) since I was little and when I heard that a new sequel was planned, I was thrilled! Unlike many SW fans, I enjoyed the newer movies. George wasn't trying to remake the old ones and I'm gald he didn't. All Mr. Lucas set out to do was create and engaging space opera and he did. So, congratulations to him.

Now back to the movies. Maybe all the tweeking that was done wasn't neccesary. But let me shock you all for a moment. I was actually glad George decided to add Hayden in on the final scene in Jedi. I know a lot of hardcore fans hated it, but now the older movies can mean a little more to the younger fans. They have someone to recognize. Plus, it's Anakin before he turned to the Dark Side. It's as he truely was. But then again these are my opinions. Now, I don't think rerecording Boba's lines was neccesary. Does it really matter? I thought it was fine as it is. God forbid it doesn't sound perfect. I'm extremely grateful that Luke's pitiful sounding scream in Empire was edited out. I think the movies can do with out that. I am very let down that Yoda wasn't made into CGI for this rerelease, but I'm guessing hardcore fans wouldn't want that. He would have looked a little better though...

Other than these few problems, the movies are still excellent! They aren't the ones that everyone fell in love with, but they are still wonderful to watch! Packed with bonus features and better sound quality, these movies will forever remain the most beloved saga in history! Thanks, George, for all the wonderful memories!


You people complaining are crazy
I love the fact that just because you can type words in an online forum you believe you are experts in all areas. The modifications in these movies are designed to make the storyline flow as it should. But wait, that's right, people like Mary Parisi (see above review)know more about Mos Eisley than the guy whose imagination created it. Give me a break lady the guy invented all this, this is how he believes it should look. I think he might know a little more about the story than you. Now pipe down and enjoy this incredible story or start your own trilogy. By the way tremendous movies, all three, a bargain at this price.
