The "Cup" Winner
Slapshot is one of the greatest sports movies ever made and certainly the best hockey movie ever made. It isn't just about winning games and goons fighting. It develops the human impact of playing low minor league hockey, how family and relationships are effected, and the life they live. I've seen it 20 times and will watch it 20 more.

this movie is one of those old school movies before they started sencering evering for traumatic impact. Some movies are just suposed to be entertainment and fun, nothing else. That is exactly what this one is. Great classic.
