Wonderful Video Series
This is a wonderful and fun way for kids to learn sign language! I have a 6 year old and a 22 month old and both of them love watching their Signing Time videos. My 6 year old knows well over 30 signs and my 22 month old has learned several signs as well. Both of them enjoy watching the various children who sign in the videos and enjoy singing along with all the catchy songs designed to reinforce the signs taught. The series really engages children and encourages active learning. When my children watch the video, I will see them signing and signing along. FUN!! The video is also a nice mix between real kids and animation. I think the series gets even better with the later volumes (i.e. vol. 4-6) because more music is incorporated (the songs are GREAT!) and some additional fun animation is added. I would definitely recommend this video series.
Signing with my child
I have a four year old that due to medical issues has not started talking. He can hear just fine. Being able to have him communicate his needs is very important. Watching this video has given him more words. He watches this video 3-4 times at each setting. The neighbor who watches him has watched this and her young children are also learning. I think this video collection is a wonderful, fun and helpful collection. I'm looking forward to purchasing the rest of the collection. Thank you very much.
