not realy very good
wes craven must have been tring to do the elm street thing again with this low brow non horror movie. a waste of film and time and the killer in this movie doesn't have 1/10 the scare factor of freddy!!!! skip it!!!!!!
Waste of time
There seems to be a dispute over this movie : as for me, I don't consider Craven as a "genius". He created the Freddy myth, but every fan agrees that the best in the series is the 3rd one. Period. And don't make us laugh with the Scream phenomenon... The story goes nowhere, the main villain is just a bad Freddy rip-off, and the idea of possessing bodies was just used... a zillion times to become pure emptiness. Check out Hidden to see what a good possession movie is. This one is a HUGE failure, a boring movie, with no rhythm at all. Some kind of pop-corn one-time deal, ready to go to the trash can. Let it stay there. Horror pictures have to be harsh.
