The waiting game...again
The extras that they offer on this DVD are well worth watching - it is only your pocketbook that will suffer. It is like getting one half of a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes.

It is nice that they have released Season 6 on DVD but not so nice that they have divided it into two box sets - with no date in sight as to when the final episodes will be released.

With the series now moving to TBS they have even removed it from HBO on Demand two weeks early. Those who missed the final few episodes the first time around will have to wait...perhaps till Christmas...for the Season 6 Part Two. Don't let TBS be your first introduction to this series...every word and scene is wonderful, and should not be cut for commercials.

I love this series! I have all the seasons so far. I have looked around and it's my experience that Amazon.com though it's new and used options sells the cheapest dvd's. I noticed so many people complaining about the price. My response is to stop complaining. It's not a req. to purchase this or any dvd. (...)

The only thing I hate about the series is its packaging. Why hasn't someone told them that this packaging is too cheap? I have three seasons that have fallen apart because of the cheap plastic they package the dvd's in.

* Having said that, purchasing the six season on dvd was worth it. The episode that I love the most of the first part is "A Women's Right to Shoes" It's so rare that you hear someone speak the truth about being single and how we look down at those that don't comply to the norms like getting married and producing children. I love that Carey didn't justify her life style by putting down her married friends. She's happy in the episode to celebrate the life choices of her friends and only wants that in return. Very well done and impressive series.

Only The Great Show Saves It
If the show was poor, this really would be a waste of money, but its still Sex And The City. I was obviously dissapointed to see the full price tag on half of a season, makes more sense to make it half price.

The reason why I gave it 3 stars not 5 was simply because no incomplete series should be bought, they should have waited and brought out the complete series after the events. This would have kept a lot more loyal Sex And The City fans watching, which is what the show aims for right?

Obviously the small amount of episodes are all great, but its just so dissapointing to see a half season for full price, waste of the money unless you're a die hard fan!

But, if people are willing to buy it, HBO greedily scavange up more and more money from loyal fans of a great show.
