Simply Sexy
I thought that this movie was very pleasurable to watch. The storyline captured my interest and had me wanting to see more. It had a simple feeling and story to it with a twist or two. I thought that it was a similar feeling to The Dreamers that I just watched.
Sometimes people rule out movies just becasue they have subtitles, this one is worth the read and a pleasure to watch.
Sexy, Powerful, Erotic, Shocking and very Beautiful
This movie really leaves you sitting in your chair thinking about the experience you just had.
"Lucia and Sex", origional title "Lucia y el Sexo" is an erotic grabbing love story that really leaves an impression.
The choice for the leading role is perfect for this film:
Paz Vega plays the warm Lucia with passion and delight. She is a joy to look at and makes the film worth seeing.
Another part that makes an impression is the part of Elena Anaya (Now known for her role as the Vampire bride Aleera in 2004's "Van Helsing"). She plays her part very believeble and you will be grabbed by her acting and that look in her eyes.
Now the Erotic scenes are very erotic, and make those scenes where it's in very powerfull and sexy, but also brings the film to a totally new level considering emotion. You feel more for the characters and you'll believe that they are truely in love. Also, it makes the lust that the lovers have for each other very strong.
A thing that I also truely enjoyed in this motion picture is the use of colourwork. The scenes that take place on the island were Lucia goes to are very light and white.
So the colours give you a special feeling about the whole thing. It gives an exciting and beautiful look. Excellent work.
The music is light but very effective in this film and is used at the right time, at the right scenes.
The Story is beautifully written and is amazing.
Everything fits and everything has to do something with the other thing. It's all connected which makes this movie a special one.
So, with beautiful actresses, great story, beautiful locations, powerfull sexscenes, great music, and a surprising ending, you'll be softly blown away by this film.
And when the credits role over the screen you'll have the feeling like you have been floating above the ground for a while.
Trust me, you will always remember this film called "Lucia y el Sexo", also known as "Sex and Lucia"
