Breathtaking, The best war film ever.
This the best war movie ever and it is so moving and touching. It shows what really happened on D-Day and the Horror these brave men had to endure. Watching this movie has made me realize how much we should respect those who fought, living and dead. Thank you all you brave me who fought for our country! I would rate this 1000 stars if i could. Great job spielberg. GET THIS MOVIE!!

Traumatic to watch ....
Well, I feel as if I have been in a battle just from watching this harrowing, brilliant film. Never before has the terror and horror of war been so graphically depicted so that one ALMOST knows what our brave soldiers faced on that June 6. I never appreciated so much what they did for us, those heroic men. This film is incredibly well-acted with stellar performances. I highly recommend it but it's not for the kids!

One Great Movie that belongs in your war collection
This is one of those chances to buy a great dvd to remember those who fought at D-Day. As a war buff, this is one of the greatest dvds I have bought for my collection. The dvd case (outside) is suppose to resemble the look of a machine gun case, and the interior of the case is to resemble your orders and such. It's great.
