Good once you realize this is aslick but not deep movie
While the cast consists of some very good actors & actress (Julia Robets, George cloony, Brad Pitt, etc.) this isn't a very deep, motivational film.

It's more about style - Vegas how we'd all like it to look & be: bright lights & loads of money, no losers (except for those greedy casino owners who deserve being hit every once in a while).

The extras (including some documentaries & 2 commentary tracks) were good.

Oceans eleven is most likely the best heist of the century
This movie was a delightful caper through one mans revenge on his wife and her lover. THe heist of million's of dollars from a casino in Vegas that was ran by his former wife's boyfriend.
Andy Garcia, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Bernie Mac, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts are pretty good cast for this star studded movie. In its own way, this movie is a rather decent comedy and the romance does not follow to far behind. The con, the heist and the end all fall together nicely, like a puzzle with no pieces missing.

For those that liked Heist or the Italian Job, you won't be disappointed in this flick.

A Simple Smash and Grab...
After a one-2 Oscar punch with TRAFFIC and ERIN BROCKOVICH, Director Steven Soderergh, decided to lighten up a bit, with OCEAN'S 11. Recently released from prison, Danny Ocean (George Clooney) is soon up to his old tricks. His plan is to steal $150 Million Dollars from 3 Las Vegas Casinos, owned by the lover (Andy Garcia) of his ex-wife, Tess (Julia Roberts). In order to pull off this complicated hiest,. Danny enlists an ecentric group of buddies to help out, while trying to win back Tess. A remake of the 60s "Rat Pack" film, there is no denying that the film is ipossible to ignore. The star-filled cast is fun to watch in what is basically a flawless piece of fluff. Soderbergh takes viewers on a ride. His crisp direction and filmmaking style hits a perfect pitch, especially in a caper flick like this . I still maintain though, that Clooney is not as great as some people think. At times he seems rather stiff here, as he has, in most of his other roles. Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, and Carl Reiner, all have a few moments to shine.

The DVD has some good extras. Chief among them though, are both commentary tracks. They are a lot of FUN and informative. The featurettes are alot like the film itself, "Fluffy". It also includes 3 trailers, a 5.1. audio track, and some DVD-ROM stuff. Fans of the film's stars are in for fun. Fans of Soderbergh, will like seeing him do his thing as director as well. Count me in. Recommended.
