I liked it. BUT!!!!!!! Kimmy and Michel???
Am I the only one that thinks that Jules and Michel should end up together??!! Kimmy and Michel had no chemistry, it is obvious that Michel and Jules are meant to be together. I mean all the indirect between them, come on!!!! The boat scene!! Him taking off the ring with his MOUTH!!! Do we see any scenes between Kimmy and Michel that have this many unspoken words between them? I rest my case. I like this movie but I always get a little annoyed with the outcome.
One of my favorite movies!
I have to admit that this is one of my favorite movies. It is an absolutely hilarious romantic comedy. Julia Roberts played the jealous ex-girlfriend/best friend very well and Rupert Everett was the perfect friend/boss/advisor. Cameron Diaz seemed to be the perfect fiance in every way. She was willing to do whatever it takes to make her man happy even if she had to sacrifice her own happiness. She also seemed to be very niave because she never really knew what her fiance's best friend was up to until the end of the movie. (I guess that is the whole point of the movie.) The dialogue was good and full of laughs. This movie was filmed in Chicago. So, it was really fun to see all the familiar scenes.
If you liked Notting Hill or Runaway Bride, you will love this movie. I highly recommend this movie for anyone who likes romantic comedies or is getting married in the near future.
