Love this movie!
OK...so I've been in love with James Garner since I was five years old (Maverick days). And yes, I love older men. This movie is an absolute favorite of mine. The chemistry between James Garner and Sally Field is terrific and it winds up being an old-fashioned romance. It doesn't get any better than this.

Looking for love in all the right places...
This movie certainly ranks high on my desert island classics. Since there has been a nice selection of impressions left by others...I won't do that route. But it seems like forever that I have been searching for the closing song done by Carol King. I cannot recall if there was a soundtrack available for this movie. But it never fails...the ending scene coupled with that song...zings me right in my old sentimental heart.
