Highly Entertaining, Highly Overlooked
Me, Myself, and Irene was the much anticipated follow up to There's Something About Mary. The problem was that when it hit the theaters, the hype had gone, and the movie did not do as well as anyone could have anticipated. The truth is that many moviegoers missed one of Jim Carrey's funniest performances.

Carrey plays the mild mannered Rhode Island Trooper who has a split personality. He is now Hank, and Charlie. He then has to escort a prisoner back to New York so she can pay off a parking ticket. Renee Zellweger does a decent job as the prisoner, but the real laughs come from the over the top performance from Carrey. There are many gags in this film that push what should be done to people, but you are still laughing despite of all that you see.

This film was sadly overlooked in its theatrical run due to other summer films such as Scary Movie, and the horrible Nutty Proffesor II. This film is much better than both of those, and deserves a second look on video and DVD.

This movie is great it has alot of gross humor but its all hillarious definitley a buy!

The relationship between Charlie Baileygates (Jim Carrey) and his girlfriend was sad because she left him for somebody else. Charlie was a nice guy who works for the Rhode Island Police force. Charlie lets everybody walk over him and because of that anger builds inside of him and his alter ego comes into play whose name is Hank. Hank does everything that Charlie would never dream of doing. Charlie meets a woman who has information about something and needs to be protected. The characters in this movie play their parts very well and there are a lot of funny parts that you will have to see again, thanks to Jim Carrey. The plot is very good because Charlie has three black kids to raise and they help throughout the movie also the girl he meets he helps her and they end up together at the end of the movie. Jim Carrey's character Charlie was to up lame and knew little about everything.
