Although Mallrats was a box office flop, most Kevin Smith fans think that this was the best. I am Kevin Smith fan, although I have only seen 2 of his films, so you know i'm not a die hard fan but think hw has lots of good ideas. I hope to see clerks and clerks 2, chasing amy, and possibly dogma, alothough i've heard that its racist. So your nprobably wondering if this anniversary edition of mallrats is a good choice or not. Well, I can't make that decision for you, but if you're looking for a rude, crude, and outrageous comedy, than this is the way to go. The special features on this disc is to die for. They include: cast and crew interviews, Kevin Smith dvd introduction, making-of featurette, thatrical trailer, both the R-rated theatrical version, and the unrated extended versions, and much more! So next time your in the video store, and in the comedy section wondering which is the best selection, look into Mallrats. P.S BEWARE!!!!!!... DON'T LET VERY YOUNG CHILDREN WATCH THIS MOVIE, IT CONTAINS STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT INCLUDING DIALOGUE, BRIEF COMIC VIOLENCE, STRONG LANGUAGE, NON-STOP CRUDE AND GROSS HUMOR, AND SOME NUDITY!!!!

Great Kevin Smith movie
I think this might be one of the better Kevin Smith movies out. It is one of my top ten comedy movies of all times. Although the movie doesn't make much sense you just have to understand that Kevin Smith isn't usually trying to make sense, just trying to make you laugh.

I must say that it's suprising to me that this movie bombed. It seems that the immature humor and basic "dick and fart jokes" would have the puerile minds of the regular patrons of the cinema rolling in the aisles. Now don't get the wrong idea I am NOT bashing this movie...I loved it, I think Kevin Smith is a comedic genius and his verbose dialogue a modern marvel, his facial expressions alone are enough to make milk come out of my nose. This is definitely a good buy and one of my favorite movies because of the simple fact that I don't have to be in the mood to watch it. I can pop it in at any time and be completely amused for the next 94 minutes. Although I am of the belief that Chasing Amy is one of the best movies I've ever viewed though not for the same reason, this one is definitely worth a look as are all other Kevin Smith movies (yes, even Jersey Girl).
