This one is simple. The Definitive Western. The best there ever was; the best there is; the best there ever will be.

Excellent miniseries - Robert Duvall is awesome!
This miniseries has a bit of everything - great action, beautiful scenery, romance, wonderful bonds of friendship. It's quite a journey & very entertaining all the way through. Robert Duvall is an amazing actor. Gus was a great character - very funny & real. Robert had such a gift of bringing him to life & I really enjoyed every scene he was in. The whole cast worked great together.

What can I say
Owned the VHS first, I had to have it on DVD. I have watched it many times over the years. An absoloute superb cast. The performances by Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones are both excellent and priceless. This and Tombstone are debatabley the 2 best westerns ever made. Lonesome Dove is a must have.
