LITTLE WOMEN
The first novel that I read this summer was LITTLE WOMEN by LOUISA MAY ALCOTT. The characters in this story are Meg,Jo,Beth, and Amy. Their father left to go to the navy and now these 4 girls live with their mother, and their nanny, Miss. March. Their family is poor. These 4 main characters are very similar to eachother. Like they all love to read, do plays, and write. In this story it's christmas time and Meg,Jo,Beth, and Amy only have a dollar each to by something for their mother and nanny for christmas. Then on christmas day they get one thing each that they wanted. In this story these girls are very greatful that atleast they have a family with them to take care of them and that they will always be with them. From reading this book I think that kids should be greatful that they have a family thats always going to be there for you. They should also undrestand that when you want something you might not always get what you want in life. I would recommend this book because it is a very good novel and it made me want to read it even more and hopefully if other people read, they would want to keep reading too.
