This is a Wonderful Movie - Funny and touching
This is the best of the Craig Ferguson's films, Saving Grace is a close second, and The Big Tease, is a third favorite. He is a middle age rock star on the edge of losing complete control, his "saving grace" that pulls him back from the edge is to find out his has an unknown child, a teenage daughter. The whole movie is funny and touches us in lots of ways. A great movie and worth your money.
DON'T FORGET THE EXTRAS
This feel-good movie has charm and a positive message in the end, but if you're put off by simple, no-frills storytelling you may be disappointed. It's very sweet and a little slow, but a fine opportunity for Ferguson to show a more serious side. If you're looking for a goofier version of him, try "The Big Tease" -- for a nice balance "Saving Grace." The director commentary is really the highlight of the film, an interesting and entertaining look behind the scenes where Ferguson wields his trademark off-the-cuff wit.
