Excellent
I purchased this movie and I had never seen it before,and I didn't know what to expect.The movie is about a Chorus girl "Jannet Jones"(Vera Ellen)and she is working for a hot head director "Frosty"(Ceasar Romaro).One day she is running late for rehearsal and the driver for millionaire "B.G Bruno"(David Niven)gives her a ride to the theater, she unknowingly leaves her purse in the car and when the driver brings the bag back to her everyone thinks she is B.G Bruno's girlfriend.So frosty Decides to make Jannet the star of he play in hopes of getting B.G to finance it.People start giving her things and charging them to B.G Bruno.So he decides to go down to the theater to clear the matter up.Now Jannet and B.G have never met each other,and when they do meet Jannet mistakes him for "Paul Tracy" a man who is supposed to interview her for the newspaper, she and B.G are attrated to each other and He dicides to pretend like he is Paul on order to keep seeing Jannet.I don't want to give away everything.But it is a great movie I highly suggest it to everyone.This movie is a must have for any dvd collection.But I must warn you the film quality isn't great.

"Roan Group" version seems to be the best print
This film is in the public domain and it has resulted in many different DVD issues, all seemingly taken from different originals and resulting in some poor quality DVDs. There's little in the reviews or packaging to assure us of just which ones are the best. However, the DVD by "Roan Group Archival Entertainment" appears to be among the best. I'm certainly very well-satisfied with the print and sound quality of mine and, without having seen all of them, I can only assume that it's at least one of the better versions, if not THE best. I'd have no hesitation recommending it.

The other reviewers have said it all for me as far as rating the entertainment value of this picture. I found it a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable little film.
