How fantastic this is!
First of all,I have to say This is one of my favorite films. This movie is really atractive.Especially,Robin Williams and Matt Damon's act is so miracle.I could say everyone would love this movie if they watch.
Matt damon,he is brilliant working class young man who retains evrything he read. One day,he solves very difficult mathmatical problem on blackboard in MIT.Professor is very curious about him and he realize how genius he is.however he has a problem about his mind.Robin williams, psycologist,is counseling him.
I would recommend watching it alone cuz you could get into this story deeply!!
Excellent, superb, splendid, marvelous, (and other synonyms)
Obviously, this film needs no introduction; everyone and their cat have seen it.
It truly is one of the greatest films of all time and if it's not on the AFI list of top films: it deserves to have a top stop.
Many people joke about Matt Damon writing the screen play and Ben Affleck sitting on his couch, contributing small pieces, in a drunken stupor; however I would like to think Mr. Affleck contributed more than the minor drunken comment.
This film is absolutely wonderful and is an important contribution to any DVD collection.
Matt, Ben, Robin and everyone else whom contributed shine in their respective performances.
Every time I see this film, it makes me laugh, smile, and cry; in different parts of the film, no less.
This film is a must own. I give praise to everyone who contributed to this film. It is extremely complex and the characters are extraordinarily deep; which can even been seen in the MIT prof's TA. I foresee this film will be taught years from now as Shakespeare is. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do, and on all the levels I do. It gets better every time I see it. Buy it, if you havn't already.
Ben's only claim to fame besides Jen Anniston
I saw this movie for the first time last year, and I completely fell in love with the storyline as well as the characters. I'll admit, Im a sucker for the underachieving genius movies (Finding Forrester, Searching for Bobby Fischer), but I thought this movie had other qualities to it. Matt's best friend actually wanted him to move away and be somebody. I thought about that for a while after the movie ended, and realized that although it was probably unlikely that your best friend would want you to move away, true friends will do that. This story is not just a testiment to underachievers everywhere, but to friendship in general. I would recommend this DVD to anyone over the age of 17, and for those younger I would recommend watching it on TV because it is full of profanity.
