"Are you not entertained?!"


Why would you not be? With Russell Crowe's acting, the epic storyline and the powerful score, I was very entertained. This would have to be Ridley Scott's greatest masterpiece as of yet.

The only thing I didn't like about it would have to be that the cinematography in the battles got annoying, but I wouldn't let that get in the way of purchasing it. You won't be dissappointed!

Great aid for teachers!!!!!!!
Gladiator isnt just a great movie, its a great learning tool. I use it in my history class and the kids love me for it. Last year I planned to do nothing but show this movie the whole year, but I did get bored so I had to watch TV instead and give the students the Bible and a Tom Clancy novel to read instead.

Good times were had by all.

Enough of the praise. There are some downfalls. There aren't any American flags and no fireworks neither!

If they make a sequel with American flags, fireworks, deathless Jesus, God, and the angels, I can teach it in all my classes and it will be perfect. so make those changes and its a 5 star movie for sure!

Oh and if you try teaching this and some parent says its to gorey for high schoolers just say you always new there kid was a wuss. sometimes that doesnt work and youll have to call them anti-american communists. But keep at it and if they still refuse, show it anyway. Thats what I did.

Gladiator (Extended Edition) is Great
Truly a masterpiece. This DVD belongs in every collection. The extended edition has some additional scenes which were not in the original release. Worth a little extra money.
