I just have one question...
If the spirits pass through physical objects--walls, tables, people's bodies, etc.--unable to touch them except through special acts of concentrated willpower, WHY DON'T THEY GO THROUGH FLOORS??? How come they walk normally on the ground and floors and streets?

Just wondering.

Fairly enjoyable movie. Parts of it are very enjoyable. But parts are pretty sappy and gushy with emotion--too much.

Timeless
Isn't love grand? Patrick and Demi and bowl of clay have never been hotter. Demi Moore has to be the best crier in cinematic history. Has anyone ever looked so beautiful crying? I doubt it. Whoopi Goldberg deserved her oscar and I still don't see why she had to give the money away, seeing how the bad guys came after her anyway...but at least true love conquered all. To tell you the truth, I'm surprised that Hollywood didn't try to capitize on the popularity of her character and write another story of the sometimes hack and sometimes genuine medium.


whoopi did it for me with the comedy, beautiful love story
Ghost, is without a doubt, one of the finest films of all time. The music, the way evil people die and the way good people die is wonderfully crafted. The scene when Whoopi Goldberg's character hears Sam's voice for the first time is wildly funny. See this movie and you will not have a dry eye in the house at the end of the movie.
