Further Tales of the City Reviews

28 Barbary Lane welcomes a bigger family. FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
The brilliant thing about the 'Tales of the city' translations to film, is that so many more people can lose themselves into the magnificent soap opera that is the lives of the tenents and family of the beguiling Anna Madrigal.
I've read all the books and, so far, the films have been pretty true to them.
My partner never reads,so I could never really talk about the books with him.
Well, at least I can now, (sort of).
I really hope that the next 3 books will be made into film too.
I suspect that if anyone is reading this, they are already a Maupin fan.
In the previous film, only 1 criticism, Pity we didn't get to see Beauchamp expire in more vivid detail. Whoever played him did it so well, I hated him as much as I did in the book!

Loved it! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
This third installment from Tales of the City was sadly never shown on TV here in the UK (don't know why, the other two were partly made through UK's channel 4)so I didn't know what to expect when I ordered the DVD, but I wasn't let down, it is as funny, touching and wonderful as the previous two!
