Dragon Ball Z - The Saiyan Conflict (Boxed Set I - Episodes 1-25) Reviews
Too long...
I watched most of the series and the last episode back then... some of the fight scenes are too long, and plain boring. But don't get me wrong, quite hilarious and I laughed all the way through especially when Gohan engaged in a fight scene with Frieza. Gohan and Goku are super saiyans and they have this special power... Man... this is something!!!
You gotta see this one!
EDITED DUB VERSIONS AVOID!
It kills me to give this saga anything but a 5 but it's well deserved. Forget about seeing any blood up to the Captain Ginyu & Frieza Sagas. The story is very good because you find out Goku's origin and plus you see the other sayians in action and they kill damn near all the z-fighters, but this dub is horrible. The voices suck bigtime. The only one's who are somewhat tolerable are Vegeta and Piccolo(barely). The action is also watered down. You don't see those full contact blows until much later. If your new to DBZ avoid this and pick up the new releases which is called the Vegeta Saga. These are extended versions and they have all the blood, voices and action just as these current ones. Also stay away from the Namek saga which suffers from the same ailments as this saga. What also makes these dvd's suck more is because they have no extras. I give this sorry atempt to mimick the japense version a 3 just because its DBZ. Had it been anything else I wouldn't give it a star at all.
