Stephanie Powers Bound and Gagged
How come nobody is talking about the excellent bondage scenes in "Die! Die! My Darling" ??? First 22 year-old sexpot and buffy athletic Steph Powers is tied, wrists behind back and gagged by Yootha Joyce ("The Pumpkin Eater"). Next we see Tallulah stuffing the gag further into Steph's mouth. Left alone in a back room while Ms. Bankhead tries to get rid of the gorgeous girl's rescuer, we see a great overhead of Powers, her ankles now tied as well, wiggling across the floor, calves popping, sixties short skirt climbing..boy can SHE wiggle. Close-up as she fights the gag, it falls away, she tumbles down a flight of stairs, wrists still tied, ankles miraculously untied. That's Steph folks! She did her own stunts. In fact, she could have BEEN a stunt woman at one point in her career. But I die die gress, my darlings. Its not over yet: Tallulah drags Steph, wrists still bound behind her back down to the basement for a lil sacrificin'. Stephy is tres cute with the gag around her throat, unconscious.
