The Coolest Movie Of The Year
The thing about bond is, you love them or you hate them. In my case, I love them(everyone of them). Pierce Brosnan is great as aways, Halle Berry is beautiful, her acting dosen't even come close to Sophie Marceau(The World Is Not Enough). Forget xXx, forget any other action that came out this year, because Die Another Day takes the cake.

an improvement
After two straight bad Bond movies (Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough), "Die another Day" was a clear improvement and redeemed the Bond franchise back to respectablity. While it is not a great movie, there are a lot things to like about tihs Bond. The first 1/2 hour is flat out great with Bond getting captured, tortured, released, and becomes a rogue agent. After the unique beginning, the film seems to go a bit into autopilot showcasing Bond's car and his various gadgets, showing Bond whooing women, staring down his enemy at their first inocuous meeting, and naturally saving the day. This being said, the majority of the action is clever and exciting and the special effects are well-done. Brosnan as always does a good job in the Bond role and film is ultimately another solid, if not spectacular, Bond movie.
