Gotta Love Them Rednecks FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! empty skull, sniff.
Billy Bob has once again tapped his southern roots and allowed us to see the dysfunctional family members that we all have in their best light. The film abounds with superlative performances from all involved. Additionally, the Marty Stuart soundtrack with guest performances from John Prine, Ray Benson and Dwight Yoakam is a great enhancement and supports the comedy completely.

Don't know how I managed to miss this one when it was first introduced, but once I saw it, I didn't hesitate for one minute to add it to my DVD library.

Relate-able Dysfunction FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
I loved this movie! I saw John Prine in concert and he
mentioned it, or I would have never found it, nor purchased
it. It was never released at the theater, straight to
video from what I understand. Anyway, the movie is a
great story of this southern dysfunctional family. The
opening language is a little "rough" but ends up being
pretty funny. I could relate to how the family acted
with each other. "Uncle Hazel loves you, but he can't
stand a one of you!" I wish the movie would have received
more attention. It is a good story with many laughs.

Brilliant, Small-Town Dysfunction at the very best !!! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! empty skull, sniff.

If you're a Billy Bob Thornton fan, this movie is one you must see. Don't listen to those who didn't even watch the movie and are rating it just because of the music. I hate when people ruin reviews by doing that crap - LAME ! Anyhow, subtle, brilliant humour abounds this movie marvel. Warped humour, and superb acting makes this one of kind. It can't be compared to Bad Santa because it's a different story, but others are comparing it to it for some reason. It's worth having in your collection of laughs...It's right next to my "The Big Lebowski".
