Buffy vs. Legally Blonde
Hmmm...This movie wasn't bad, for a re-make, it had some good elements. The story line is simple, two stepsiblings (Sarah Michelle Gellar & Ryan Phillippe) figure it would be fun to break someone's heart in a very ominous and impish fashion. As an incentive, Sarah Michelle Gellar's character offers Ryan Phillippe's character a hot night of sex with her. Under the assumption that he can find a girl, make her fall in love with him and then break her heart. This challenge should come very easy to Phillippe's character since he is such a stud. Now enter the real quagmire, the girl's heart he tries to break is Reese Witherspoon's character. Consequently, he ends up really falling in love with her. Very messy.
The way I see it, I would have spent my time with Reese, broke her heart and then hooked up with Sarah Michelle, if I was in this movie. I think many guys would do the same. However, if I had to choose between Legally Blonde and Buffy the Vampire slayer, then I am going with the Sarah Michelle, she is much hotter and a better actress than Reese's pieces.
Buffy-not being Buffy
It is nice to see Sarah Michelle Geller in a not-so-nice, anti-heroine role here. I'm so used to seeing her as "Buffy".
