Very well done, Easily surpasses mundane US humour
"Copling" is a very smart and funny show from England. It is indeed like lame US "Friends" only with this show you can actually laugh at the writing. On DVD First Season (the only season we have watched so far), there are some very very funny stories and some creative writing. I totally recommend this show to anyone who hates the dismal quality of US comedy shows. Sometimes it is on PBS here but only once a week at 11pm, way too adult for our censorship system, afterall why can't the words for body parts be used here but over in Britian it is OK? I guess they are more mature about sexuality there than here where connotations are all we can look forward to.

Better than Friends
I read someone's review that said "Friends" was superior to "Coupling". That person obviously does not know good television when they see it. Either that, or they're just brain-dead. Besides, the only way to know when to laugh when watching "Friends" is when the laugh-track comes on.

sexual, and dirty!!!
i just don't get why all these reviewers gave this dvd 4 stars or more!!! you can plainly see in the preview (which, unfortunately i have on my "father ted" disc) that it is watchable if you are at least 21 years of age. it contains just sex, sex, and more of it. don't buy this dvd if you are sensitive to sexual things!!
