Funny, Funny, Funny
I'm a huge fan of the show and I'm glad that the 1st season is out on DVD. I really like the fact that Dave Chappelle is bold enough to say things that no else would and at the same time make you laugh out loud.

This is the best comedy DVD that has come out in a long time and comedy fans should definitely get it.

Genius
Dave takes us into his world. He pushed the word "laughter" onto a different level. His episodes push boundries far from believable. He took shows that were popular and turned them into something we could laugh at. His remake of "Trading Spouses" is a great example. He also pokes fun at musical artists like R. Kelly and Prince. He expressed great laughter in these skits. He's a comedic genius that will be around for a very long time.

EXTREMELY HILARIOUS!!!
When I first saw Dave Chappelle in the mid 90's, I felt that he was a pretty decent run-of-the-mill comic....UNTIL NOW!!! I think he's a comedic genious by pushing the envelopes of social issues and making us laugh at ourselves. He takes risks and doesn't hold any punches by doing so. Do I consider myself an 'N' word? Not by any means...however, I feel the word takes on a more humorous and less threatening meaning...we can't act like the word doesn't exist; we just have to change our way of thinking about it. I've heard Dave use the 'N' words toward white people in his sketches as well!!!! He has taken a word that was used to make African-Americans feel inferior and less than human and diluted it to a universal terminology for ANYONE OF ANY RACE!!! (comedic genious) We as people in today's society must learn not to take life so seriously; times change, people change, and words change meaning over time (...)
DAVE CHAPPELLE GETS MAD PROPS FROM THE ATL!!!! KEEP DOING YOUR THING!!!!! I cant wait 'till the SECOND season comes out on DVD!!!
