Mad TV and SNL only wish they could be this funny FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
My first time watching Chappelle's Show was the infamous "Rick James" episode; and after recovering from the aching sides, watery eyes, and shortness of breath that comes from 30 minutes of nonstop laughter I knew I had to get the Season 1 DVD as soon as it hit the stores.

This show is absolutely brilliant and Chappelle should be praised for putting on a show that is not afraid to skewer many of the absurdities of living in 21st century America. The bonus materials in the set include 25 minutes of outtakes and bloopers, audio commentary from Chappelle and his longtime collaborator Neal Brennan on their 5 favorite episodes (which is pretty hilarious on its own), and an extended "Ask a Black Man" segment. With the exception of Mos Def, De La Soul, and Blackstar, the musical guest segments have been edited out; but since I'm watching for the sketches it's not a big deal to me.

Run, don't walk and get your hands on this DVD...that is if you can find it.
