Weird accent, decent workout
Being that I'm a personal trainer and have been doing yoga for about 6 years, it takes a pretty good video for me to feel like I'm getting something out of it. The instructors accent was a little different, northeastern and yoga is a strange combo but he is a good teacher. Both the Tone and Sweat programs are challenging. I like the studio the video was shot in and people in the class are definately inspiring. He also gives differnet options for poses which would be nice for beginners and expert. Overall I think this video is a good value and worth the buy.

Excellent DVD-3 workouts on one DVD
I have a large collection of yoga dvd's and tapes. This is by far my favorite. I am a yoga teacher myself and found this dvd a great addition to my home practice. I would recommend it to anyone.

good yoga, annoying instructor
I am fairly new to yoga - I have been going to classes twice a week for the last 3 months. I bought this DVD to supplement my classes. I have only done the first segment of the DVD (Energize I think it's called) and while it is good, I'm having a hard time bothering with it now. Brian Kest is very annoying. The first couple of times, I could deal with it. But by now, his "1, 2, 3, 4 get some length, 5, 6, 7, 8 get some strength" and "you know when you go to get a massage and they press too hard and ....." all while he tells you to relax and breathe is too grating. He talks far far too much and I do not find it relaxing. So much for yoga soothing the soul. Also, like a previous reviewer, I think he has a speech impediment and he likes to use big words that he seems to have difficulty pronouncing. Overall, if you can get over the incessant chatter, then the work out is very good. If you prefer a more calming yoga, this will grate on your nerves.
