William Wallace killed 50 men 50 effort with 1
This is one of my favorite movie of all time
This is a top movie of all time and is 1 of the 100 best films of all time
This does not stay all true to William Wallace's encounters and actual things that happened to him but some of it is true
This story is about a small Scottish boy who sees his father in rebellion to England and their king who is rulling Scotland and taking Scotland as if it where his
William sees this at a young age and then when he is older he returns to his home and wishes to start a family and says that he wants to stay out of the trouble
But he does not after his love is killed by the English
He fights for her and fights for the country of Scotland to be free
This is a very heroic and Patriotic film
This is excellent and best suited for Scottish and Irish people
The cast and acting in this movie is perfect I dont ever say that about a movie but I feel everyone in this movie did their best acting
This movie has everything from Love, to War
This is a must see for anyone
The bonus features are also very entertaining showing how the movie was done with the battle scenes and where the movie was shot at this particular scene

A Pain To Sit through.
This film suffers from so many things, its the same old crap you've seen before, kinda a chore sitting through it, Filled with clitches and oscar Wins this is another film that suffers from hollywoodism(If thats a word lol) But anyways it'll entertain Blah blah blah youve all seen this before, catch it on Cable tv dont buy the dvd.

Another film which was visually good to look at Gladiator, suffers the same as this film.

Stunningly Powerful!
Mel Gibson plays William Wallace, the Scottish patriot who leads his people in a rebellion to free their land from English domination. Gibson also directed the film and did a masterful job of it. The battle scenes are bloody and disturbingly realistic. Viewers of Scottish ancestry (such as myself) will be especially affected by this very entertaining, moving and powerful film.

Those who are familiar with the history of Wallace's rebellion will no doubt watch the film with much trepidation, anxious as to the way they know the film must end. The film ends, however, with both extreme sadness and joy. This film really deserved the Oscar it won for best film of 1995!
