Batman & Robin Reviews
Not as bad as I originaly thought.
I reveiwed this movie a couple of months ago and I think I was way to harsh. After my last reveiw I actualy went and watched this movie a few more times ( I didn't rent it it just happened to be on TV). After watching it though I realized something its not as bad as I thought it was. Now I'm not saying its a good movie, because its not, but I do find entertaining on a boring day.
I know its one of the worst super hero movies ever and it deserves it, but I don't think its one of the worst movies ever made. Its actualy a pretty decent film if you think about. Sure Arnold was a huge over actor in this movie, but thats what I liked about. Its so corny its funny. I couls set around for hours laughing about how bad they made som of the scenes. Is it worth owning? No. It is no masterpeice and probably does'nt deserve to be in your collection. Is it worth seeing? Yes. I think every one should at least see this movie once. If you watch it you may get a laugh at how poorly written the script is.
Better than first with Micheal Keaton, but it would have great to see Jack instead of goofy Robin
Very good talent is somewhat wasted in here.
Schwarzenegger is fine as Mr. Freeze. His
Austrian accent is OK here; Poison Ivy is
awesome, but then I like Uma Thurman anyway.
But I think Uma would have been closer to Julie
Newmar from '60's comic Batman Series as Cat
Woman or Batgirl. Alicia-What's-her name would
have better as Poison Ivy, to give her some edge.
Talent here is fine, I say again but some differ-
ent roles would have boosted this PG movie a bit.
First is way too violent for kids (I found that
out!), but it's still a tad better than Keaton's
version. The rest in this Series are below average.
