This is one of those movies where you just...watch the unrated version, Ok?
Spicey...well, just balls (pun intended)
yeah, this movie is good...yeah, half is "porn"
Watch it [the unrated version]...and read Douglas king's review...[oh, and btw- in one way, you can say it is "mysogynistic" in another, it exposes it, and in another it is "misandrist" as well as "gender-bending" which i reallly like (*Catherine Trammell)


A very fresh murder movie that gets better by the minute
This movie Stars very good characters for the plot,The movie starts out with a grusome murder (If you have the unrated version)and a detective is sent in to figure out who did it and after some facts were discover they go to a supects house and from then The detective meets a woman that has some thing to do with it but can't figure it out because of the twist and turns she puts in his head and then she slowly seduces him.But the detective does not lose his thought's about what she's up to which makes the movie interesting to see. The dvd comes with lots of stuff so don't worry

Good Movie
If you've seen Paul Verhoeven's other non sci-fi satire movies than you might have been more prepared and possibly less interested than me. It was the first non-sci-fi Verhoeven movie that I've seen, ranking above Hollowman and below Total Recall in my Verhoeven list. We even get a famous Verhoeven gunshot squib shot! It's just one gunshot, but hey it splatters and is remenicent of RoboCop and Total Recall. Anyway, Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone are both excellent players and are very fun to watch play out their scenes, and not just the nudy ones. This may have alot of sex in it, but if you know Verhoeven you already knew that. Every one of his movies that I've seen directed by him show boobs, but that's not the point of this movie even though it may seem like that at times. This movie kept me guessing up until literally the very ending credits. The suspense is very good and helps move this movie along at a good pace. I found this to be a very addictive movie to watch, and by that I mean I didn't want it to be over. I know what you're thinking, and that's not my reason. The only problem with this is the outdated DVD. It's a piece of crap from the early days of DVD. See this movie if you're a Verhoeven fan. Don't show your kids though.
