Horrid experience, and way too long
While I've seen worse films, few films that I have ever seen combine action, comedy, and dialog as sloppy as this overlong, over-loud, over-stupid, over-profanic, and over-offensive piece. The editing on the action scenes, which are frequent, is undiniably bad, making them frustrating and nausiating to watch. The movie's comedy all falls flat, and is often offensive and mean spirited. The dialog is incomprehesibly bad; I don't mind that there's a lot of profanity, I mind that profanity is used to be sick, mean, and stupid. The plot from the begining is just a throwaway. From the beginging with, of all things, a drug bust on a KKK group, with frequent use of the N word to try to be funny, and an action scene like all the preceding others that half the time one can't tell where another person is shooting, I knew it was bad. Why, oh why, does this movie clog over two hours? It should have been 90 minutes max, but even if it had been I'd still be saying the same things. Terrible film.

Better than the first
I saw this movie before seeing the original Bad Boys. And, well...this one is MUCH, much better. Will Smith remains one of the most under-rated and consistently top-notch actors of the last 15 years. Interestingly enough, this movie seems to be wildly appealing to many of my friends who I would have NEVER pegged as liking this type of action/humor blend.

I watched this with a friend who thought it was the funniest movie he'd ever seen - throughout the entire thing, he was bouncing in his seat exclaiming, "they should make MORE of this s***!" This is a masterfully calm professional at the cutting edge of his craft who I have NEVER seen, and much less imagined, bouncing around excitedly on his couch because of a movie. Or because of anything, for that matter. At first I thought he was joking with his over-the-top enthusiasm; minutes before the movie I thought to myself, "oh man, I hope he doesn't hate this too much..."

A pleasant surprise to say the least. A consistent hit with both the younger action-movie crowd as well as the older, intellectual guys who seem to love Smith's half-dry wit and perfect delivery.

Definitely a movie you can watch often without growing tired of it or needing too much "downtime" to recover from emotional impact and other such things.

Bad Boys 2 on DVD
I really liked how fast it got to me but I have one complain. I orderd Bad Boys 2 on UMD (PSP) but I got it on DVD and because I don't live in America I have to watch it my cmputer. This has never hapeend to me before on Amazon so that is my only complain. Otherwise it was a great Item and a good movie and the best part was it got here right on time end there was no damage on the disk.
